Crane kits are essential components for overhead cranes and gantry cranes, designed to enhance lifting and handling capabilities. At Modern Trading, we supply high-engineering design traveling crane trolleys and end end carriages as semi-finished products in our factory, offering them to our customers. Our standard production range spans from 1 ton to 40 tons, with additional options available for various working classes and speeds. Design
- Our crane kits are engineered in compliance with ISO, FEM, and DIN norms. Mechanisms are carefully selected to match the desired lifting and execution speeds, as well as the specific working class. We focus on enhancing the aesthetic appeal of our electrical hoists, simplifying assembly and disassembly, and improving manufacturability.
- Our innovative R&D product, the wheel blocks, facilitates easier assembly and disassembly. These wheel blocks feature a quieter, more sensitive bearing system compared to alternatives, extending the lifespan of the roller, wheel, and gearbox. The adjustable wheel center allows for +/- 15 mm movement to accommodate rail defects.
Performance and Durability
- Frequency inverters are employed to achieve smooth load carrying and minimize load swing. These inverters also reduce abrasion and enhance the longevity of the brakes. Our specially designed motor and reducer groups ensure soft starts, shock-free operation, and extended service life.
- Drive groups feature wheel blocks cast from GGG50 material, processed with advanced technology for increased bearing and wheel life. The multi-key system driving the wheel hub minimizes wear on both the wheel hub and drive shaft.
Technical Specifications
- The output shafts of our lifting and running gearboxes are designed with milling interlocking, adhering to DIN 5480 standards, offering safer load carrying compared to wedge systems. Wheel diameters are determined based on wheel pressures, with spherical graphite cast material (GGG70) selected for its wear resistance.
- Painting processes conform to international standards, with options for custom colors as requested by customers. Motors meet IEC standards, featuring a squirrel cage design, 400Vac nominal voltage, 3-phase configuration, 50Hz frequency, F insulation, S1 working class, and a minimum IP55 protection class, with an electromagnetic disc brake.
Safety and Maintenance Features
- Lowering-lifting and end-of-rail movements are controlled by limit switches to ensure safe operation. Our designs prioritize quality, ease of assembly, service intervention, ergonomic appearance, and reduced workmanship. Crane collision sensors are included to prevent accidents and malfunctions when multiple cranes operate on the same line.
